Treatment sessions are designed to be fun, engaging and meaningful. They are always individualised to the child/young person's specific goals and needs. The intensive nature promotes repetition, neuroplasticity and the required input for physiological changes. Treatment packages include:

3 hours x 5 days - 1 week

3 hours x 5 days - 2 weeks

3 hours x 5 days - 3 weeks

All participants require detailed screening and an initial assessment prior to treatment commencing to confirm suitability.

The TheraSuit® Orthosis: A soft, dynamic suit designed to improve postural alignment, stabilize the body, and deeply enhance sensory awareness.
The Universal Exercise Unit (UEU): A specialized pulley system used to isolate, target, and safely strengthen specific muscle groups.
Spider Therapy: An innovative system of belts and elasticated bungee cords that counteracts the heavy effects of gravity. This weight-bearing support allows young people with limited mobility to move freely, build balance, and safely explore challenging positions/postures.

Phase 1: Intake & Safety Screening

1. Initial Referral: Complete our quick online referral form to share your child’s history with us.

2. Suitability Screening: Our clinical team reviews the referral to ensure the TheraSuit Method® is entirely safe and appropriate for your child.

Phase 2: Consultation & Planning

3. Initial Physiotherapy Assessment: Your Physiotherapist evaluates your child's gross motor skills and functional needs. This vital session also gives us time to build a warm rapport with your young person.

4. Collaborative Goal Setting: Together, we will discuss your family's desired outcomes and design a tailored treatment plan, including the recommended frequency and duration of the intensive sessions.

Phase 3: Booking & Preparation

5. Scheduling & Deposit: Once you are happy with the plan, we will secure your session dates in our schedule and issue a deposit invoice.

6. Fueling for Success: Because intensive therapy requires significant energy, we guide families on maintaining high hydration and calorie intake to keep your child energized throughout the program.

Phase 4: Completion & Next Steps

7. Final Report & Recommendations: Upon completion, you will receive a comprehensive summary report highlighting your child's progress alongside expert recommendations for their ongoing development.
